With their Country stylings and rock and roll underbelly family tree this was a no brainer. One mic, one original, and one cover. This recording was all down hill, and sounds great! 46 green copies cut and 4 blue.
Dead Mono is a nod to Fred Cole and Dead Moon. These sessions are recorded on Fred Cole’s mono Scully tape deck. A tape deck he never had a chance to get up and running. I hope he’d be happy knowing his old tape deck is alive, well, and recording music. Fred was also know for cutting his own records on his Presto lathe. One very similar to the one I use
