THE SEA AND THE MOTHER

This is an 8 inch square lathe cut. Side A: FADE INTO YOU (Mazzy Star cover)/ Side B: TRADE.

The Mazzy Star cover was recorded in a big abandoned house. It’s a live recording, and is full of ghostly sounds. Limited to 12 copies.

This is also part of a collaboration with writer and artist Dao Strom.  I gave her my time and knowledge recording her an album (a cassette is available).  These are bonus tracks from those sessions.  In return Dao helped me edit my first book of short stories and poems.
